Personal Statement

I am a problem-solver, and I always want to finish what I start , especially when it affect others. People tell me I look like I want to bang my head against the keyboard when I focus intensely on a problem. This happens when I can picture the solution, but it isn’t working yet. I enjoy the thrill of hard work paying off.

Professionally, I am a computer nerd who loves using my skills to help people. Whether writing code, configuring networks, 3D printing, or creating digital art, seeing someone’s eyes light up when I bring an idea to life is a feeling like no other. No amount of complicated code and technical jargon compares to the feeling of creating something that anyone can easily understand or enjoy. It’s not about showing off the glorious complexity and depth of a project. Instead, it’s about using computer power to make life better.

When I get away from computers, I am a passionate musician. Music makes life more meaningful by bringing together people from different walks of life. I am an active violinist, playing in orchestras and small ensembles to support local composers and to entertain friends and family. Music is a hobby to me, but my problem-solving nature helps me learn pieces. The joy of playing music with and for other people is always worth it!
